How it works: How you make money
Recommend the products to family and friends
Show our fantastic products to family and friends, work colleagues, neighbours, or anyone else you can think of. Invest in a kit of samples featuring 60 of our top-selling, high-quality designer-inspired perfumes and take orders for the products.
Take payment
Take payment from your new customers at the time they order. Your customers pay the retail price. For example a Classic+ bottle of perfume has a retail price of AU$48.70 and is worth 13 Essens points (I'll get to points shortly).
Submit your order to Essens
Once you have enough orders, submit your combined order to Essens and pay Essens the wholesale price.
The price your would pay on that Classic+ bottle of perfume is AU$32.40. The difference between the retail price and the wholesale price is yours to keep. So on a standard bottle of perfume your earnings would be AU$16.30 per bottle ordered, which is 33.5% of it's retail value.
Free products
For every 5 bottles of perfume you order, you would receive a bottle free. You do not have to pay for that bottle so you would earn 100% of the retail value on that free bottle i.e AU$48.70. That would take your earnings up to 46% of retail value when you place a 6 bottle order.
N.B. There are no points on free bottles.
Commission bonuses
When your order reaches the value of 100 points, (so 8 bottles that you have paid for), you will receive a commission bonus. The bonus increases based on the number of points you accumulate across a calendar month, but starts at 3 percent of your total points for the month, going up to 6% when your total orders reach 400 points. Your commission bonus on top of your retail profit takes your total earnings up to 48% of the retail value.
Your costs
Of course, there may be shipping costs and these vary depending on how quickly you want the products to arrive and how many total points your order is worth.
Fast ship (5 business days delivery + customs)
- 0p – 175p = 105 AU$
- 175p – 299p = 70 AU$
- 300p + = Free
Please keep in mind that any order worth over 1000 AUD will be charged customs upon arrival to Australia.
Standard (10 business days delivery + customs)
- 0p – 175p = 25 AU$
- 175p – 299p = 20 AU$
- 300p + = Free
So if you submit orders once you have 300 points worth of orders from your customers (24 classic+ bottles or 25 standard) there are zero costs after you have bought your starter kit which is a one off cost.
You can purchase branded stationery and other promotional items but that is entirely optional.
